The unfortunate occurrence of a flood provided an opportunity to re-imagine the kitchen and dining room of this Desert Mountain home. As former clients of The Studio at CeTerra Accents & Interiors, the homeowners contacted us to navigate the challenging logistics of this project which required the replacement of multiple fixtures and finishes.
In the kitchen, shaker style cabinetry of warm rich alder was coordinated with new granite countertops full of movement and interest. A specially designed backsplash blended of copper and glass was also added as a focal point. Professional stainless steel appliances were integrated into the existing footprint to improve efficiency and functionality while majestic travertine tile was carried throughout the kitchen and adjacent dining room to maintain continuity. A sweeping iron chandelier was hand-crafted to illuminate the dining space, and highlight the colorful and striking artwork. A table base consisting of an open geometric pattern in steel was melded with a rustic wood top to create the perfect centerpiece for the dining room. Complimentary chairs in dark lush leather and nail-head trim were selected to surround the dining table and entice guests to linger over delicious meals and enjoyable conversation.
